Today the Church celebrates the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord which occurs forty days after the birth of Jesus. The Presentation of the Lord concludes the celebration of the Nativity and with the offerings of the Virgin Mother and the prophecy of Simeon, the events now point toward Easter.

The week of January 26 – February 2, 2020, invites us to celebrate the Annual National Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme: "Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed."

John’s mission of preparing “the way” for Jesus gradually fades away as he proclaimed the presence of Jesus – “Behold the Lamb of God… Behold the Light of the World!”

“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased! Today, the scene on the banks of the Jordan River present the solemn proclamation of Jesus as the Son of God. It is from the moment of Jesus’ baptism, that His public ministry begins the saving mission of the world.

Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 10626, the Annual Annunciation Scholarship Pasta Dinner will be held on January 25, 2020 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Parish Hall.

Today, on the first Sunday of the New Year, the Church celebrates the great feast of Epiphany. The celebration of Epiphany, meaning "manifestation," commemorates the coming of the Magi as the first manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles.
